Seascape Speed Painting by Alan Kingwell – Art Tuition Video. No.80

Today I have selected another one of Alan Kingwell´s seascapes.
In just under 9 minutes the speed painting shows you how the painting develops from start to finish.

The first 20 seconds are spent showing us more beautiful seascapes by the same artist.

Alan initially uses masking tape for the horizon line. After developing the dramatic sky he proceeds to paint the background cliffs. Foreground rocks and ocean waves complete the picture.

The techniques will work both for oils and acrylics.

Hope you will enjoy my choice of the day.
