Painted After Dali – Acrylics on Canvas Panel

After Dali – The Persistence of Memory

I have been encouraged by friends to post this painting in acrylics on canvas board which is after Salvador Dali´s “Persistence of Memory“.

Dali´s original 1931 oil painting is 24x33cm while my study is 40x50cm. When I spoke to an artist who had worked with Dali for 5 years he confirmed that Dali had not always created large-scale paintings.

A friend of mine had challenged me to paint this for his front room. He was very pleased with his present. For copyright reasons this work is totally non commercial.

The back of my acrylic painting on canvas panel is duly inscribed with my name and a mention of where it was copied from. It also bears my initials on the bottom right hand side.
So I am afraid there are no limited edition prints or any other commercial copies available of this work.

You will find more pictures after clicking on the painting.
