How to Paint a Watercolour Seascape – Art Tuition Video No.117

Today I came across Rob Dudley painting a seascape in watercolour. It was fascinating to hear his explanations and listen to his advice.

In about 25 minutes you learn how to apply masking fluid to create the sparkle on the water and how to paint the sky. The video offers a link to part two of the lesson to watch Rob paint the water and finish the painting.

I thought it was well worth watching. Hope you like my choice of the day.

  1. Robert Jones says:

I was going to have him arrested for extreme cruelty to brushes, but in fact he’s produced a remarkable painting using masking fluid, which I normally avoid like the plague. And I didn’t know this artist, either – will look out for him now, so thanks for posting this.
