How to Varnish a Painting – Art Tuition Video No.118


You might be interested to learn about Jan Blencowe´s advice on how to varnish a painting.

In just under 4 minutes Jan demonstrates how to apply several coats of vanish to protect your painting.

The painting must be thoroughly dry before varnish is applied. This can take 6-12 months with oils while acrylics will dry within days or perhaps a week.
