Preparations for a Group Exhibition

Our arts society will be staging a group exhibition of our works at a well-known exhibition centre near some major cities where we live. Apart from our individual paintings for which there seems to be plenty of room on the premises we are also working on a joint display. This will be a giant size painting for which we will be producing a 30x40cm canvas each. As there are 12 of us the resulting painting will be 30 x 480 cm (12 x 189 in). So it should look quite impressive.

It will be a landscape where every painting will contribute to the overall picture still creating enough interest in each to be sold as an individual item. We still have some time left to prepare as the exhibition will only open in April. I will keep you posted.
The video is a recording of a show our art society have had at the same venue some years ago.

The collaborative painting sounds fascinating. Are you all using the same media and palette?
