Featured Artists

You will find many very fine artists represented on my
Featured Artist page.

They are painters whose work I particularly admire. You will find that every one of them has developed his or her individual style displaying a skill which I regrettably find missing in some of the art of our time.

You will notice that I prefer realistic paintings where you can actually see what the subject is supposed to represent without having to attend a seminar to tell you. I admire artists who depict beauty or who manage to tell a wonderful story in a skillful way. Some of their works might survive our modern times just like the works of the old masters who are still as famous today as they were centuries ago.

So my featured artists page will continue to grow every time I find an artist on the web whose work I like who I then contact to ask permission to present one of his or her paintings. So there is a picture for each of them with a link to their personal website. There are no strings attached. It does not matter to me whether the artist has undergone formal training or is self-taught. To my way of thinking either party will have had to study and practice extensively to achieve the level of perfection which I see in their paintings.

I just love to promote the works of those very talented artists in the hope that the world will recognize that there is more to art than thick layers of paint and event-driven media attention picking on the outrageous or scandalous.

About Pat Harrison

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
