Castle Gemen – Acrylic Painting for an Exhibition

Gemen Castle with a moat painted by Pat Harrison

Castle Gemen

This acrylic painting of Castle Gemen in Germany is also scheduled for my exhibition in May. It is a picturesque tourist attraction near the gallery where the exhibition will take place.

The castle was first mentioned in documents in 962. Today it is owned by the bishop of Munster and houses a college.

The picture was painted after a photograph using acrylics on canvas panel size 30x40cm . Limited edition prints are available upon enquiry. The original will be on sale at the Brucke Gallery in Asbeck as from May this year.

You will find more paintings here and an enlarged view when you click on the picture.

About Pat Harrison

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
