Murphy´s Law applied to Exhibitions

Preparing for my next exhibition on Sunday I realized how much Murphy´s law can affect you here. I thought I had everything ready and all I had to do was wrap up the paintings and put them aside.

I knew there were a few which still had to be mounted and framed. I thought I had enough mounts left in the drawer to do that. I had not allowed for Murphy. As you know his law says that if anything can go wrong it will. So it did. The mounts I had left in the drawer did not fit and the frames I had left over were the wrong size. So I had to go out and buy new mounts and frames. Now I have got some work to do. Fortunately I started early so there is still enough time until Sunday.

  1. David says:
