Arch of Titus in Rome – Ink Drawing

ink drawing by artist Pat Harrison

Arch of Titus, Rome

arch erected in honour of emperor Titus

Titus Arch in Rome

This A4 drawing of the Arch of Titus in Rome. goes with the oil painting I posted some time ago. The arch was erected to commemorate the victories of emperor Titus in the year 82AD.

Emperor Domitian of Rome who had succeeded Titus had this monument built to honour his older brother.

Both the drawing and the oil painting are of my early works painted after one of my photographs back in 1979.

Please click on the oil painting if you want to see more of my works. A click on the drawing will give you an enlarged view.
