Moyland Castle Moat

Members of the NAROMA Art Society went to visit Moyland Castle last Saturday. They were duly impressed by the paintings they got to see. You will find more about the exhibition when you click here.

The exhibition will be open until 24 August. It presents 19th and 20th century landscape paintings with excellent inscriptions to explain the background of the works of the mainly Dutch masters.

Admirers of modern art also get a chance to see the works of Joseph Beuys on the first floor of the building.

The 14 century castle was destroyed in 1945 and reconstructed in 1987. There is also a wonderful park and a friendly cafe to invite you to stay.

The NAROMA Art Society enjoy these museum visits as part of their annual programme.
