Historic Buildings – eighth of 11 Paintings

townscape painting by Pat Harrison

Fashion in historic surroundings

This is the eighth in my series of 12 townscapes which I painted for a project.

The owner of the fashion shop must be happy to be able to display his wares in this historical half-timbered building. There are many similar houses in this small town. It was a pleasure to paint the setting which really is ideal for artists.

You will find more information about the project in one of my previous posts. The paintings have been on display in a shoe shop in the town centre which even led to some sales.

About Pat Harrison

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
