Imaginary Landscape – Acrylic Painting

landscape painting by Pat Harrison

This imaginary landscape with rays of sunshine breaking through the clouds to touch the mountains surrounding a valley was painted after a description my daughter gave me.

She appears to be happy with the result. I was just wondering what you thought of it.

It was painted in acrylics on a 50x70cm canvas panel, so it is a fair size. Some of the scenery is based on my imagination and several photographs always keeping in mind the elements my daughter wanted to see in it.
