Rail Track beside a River – Acrylic Painting

landscape painting by Pat Harrison

Rail Track beside a River

This acrylic painting of a rail track beside a river was painted on bamboo carton size 30x40cm.

It could be anywhere in the world but the scene was inspired by a beauty spot near Buckfastleigh in Devon, England.

It is based on a photograph taken on a dull day so I had to add the sunshine to bring it to life. Trees line the river casting shadows over the railway line.
