Down to the Lake in Autumn

From April 16 through May 10 I will be participating in the NAROMA Art Society´s exhibition of representational art at the Feldmann Trust in Germany.

The artists will be showing more than 20 works which they created having been set a challenge by the group´s leader.  They had to paint a landscape in the four seasons. Each artist has interpreted the task in his own style. Based on a sketch presented to them they had to paint the scene in the moods of spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The group of twelve covered the seasons by four groups of three artists each concentrating on a season. One artist would paint the left hand side of the given sketch, one artist the right hand side and the third artist the whole picture. They each had a canvas of 40x50cm so every painting could be sold individually too.

You can see some results on the left. The top painting is my own contribution. The middle one shows the whole scene painted by Peter Kempf while the bottom painting shows the right hand side of the scene painted by Waltraud Reintjes.

About landscape painter

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
