2015 Art Auction in Favour of Underprivileged Children

painting by Pat Harrison alias Rainer Hillebrand

cyclists

In November 2015 I will be participating in an art auction intended to benefit underprivileged children in a major city near my home town. More than 70 works of art will be sold with even more artists having submitted a painting each.

The organisers had to restrict the number of entries to one item per artist yet not everyone passed the jury´s criteriae. So I am happy to say that my painting in the photo on the left will be one of them. Of course there will be abstracts too.

A large number of art collectors and visitors have attended this auction in previous years so we are hoping it will be another success this year.

It was important to me that the proceeds from the sale will go to a project supported by the town´s Round Table 26 who want to help children in underprivileged areas of the city.

About Pat Harrison

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
