This acrylic painting on canvas panel size 70x50cm shows an old clapper bridge some of which you can still find in the English countryside. Their origin is claimed to go back to medieval times when horses would carry goods across these bridges. Some are very well preserved others have collapsed such as this one. It still has beauty in the painter´s eye.
