Inspired by B.C.Koekkoek – Acrylic Painting

painting by Pat Harrison aka Rainer Hillebrand

Italian Landscape

I am still busy creating reproductions of paintings inspired by the 19th century Dutch painter B.C.Koekkoek.

Again this work is painted in acrylics on wood size 15x10cm. It shows cows by a river in an Italian landscape.

This painting will go on sale at a show in Cleves in May this year. My painter friend and I will be demonstrating the old painting techniques at the Koekkoek museum in Cleves.

The demonstration coincides with an exhibition by another Dutch artist Cornelis Lieste whose works are on show at the museum for the very first time.

You will find more of my landscape paintings when you click here. For an enlarged view please click on the photo. The original will go on sale next year yet limited edition prints are available upon enquiry.
