Report about our Exhibition at a Museum in Cleves

Here is a report about my exhibition at the B.C.Koekkoek museum in Cleves on May 15. We were pleasantly surprised about the number of visitors. Many had come from afar with several of them having crossed the border from the Netherlands. We were particularly pleased about the ones who had come especially to see us interpret the work of the 19th century master whose paintings on permanent display at this museum. Apparently people had read the press release and our web bulletins.

A family from the Netherlands also bought a couple of paintings as a memento since they themselves had loaned one of their family heirlooms to the museum for the Cornelis Lieste exhibition.

We also sold a catalogue of our private exhibition which we had only intended to put on display to guide visitors through our work.

In contrast to the large original canvases our reproductions are affordable miniatures.

We want to thank all those who came to see us and talk to us making the day a very busy and pleasurable occasion for Peter and me.
