2016 Art Auction in Favour of Underprivileged Children

painting by Pat Harrison

Lake with Tree

On the last Sunday of October one of my works went to an art auction intended to benefit underprivileged children in a major city near my home town. Dozens of works of art were sold with many artists having submitted a painting each.

The number of entries were restricted to one item per artist so I am happy to say that my painting in the photo on the left was one of them. Of course there were abstracts too.

A large number of art collectors and visitors always attended these auctions.

It was important to me that the proceeds from the sale will go to a project supported by the town´s Round Table 26 who want to help children in need.

About Pat Harrison

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with several awards for my paintings I now have one of my works on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
