Barking Abbey – Acrylic Painting

painting by Pat Harrison aka Rainer Hillebrand

Curfew Tower – Barking Abbey

This is the second one of 14 paintings which I am preparing for my upcoming solo exhibition at a museum in Greater London in 2017.

The picturesque old ruin is the only relic on this site still standing from the dissolution of the monasteries.

Behind the Curfew Tower you will come across the foundation stones of the original abbey layout.

You will find more of my paintings when you click here. For an enlarged view please click on the photo. Similar originals and limited edition prints are available upon enquiry.

About landscape painter

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
