Kingsley Hall Dagenham – Acrylic Painting

painting by Pat Harrison aka Rainer Hillebrand

Kingsley Hall, Dagenham

Kingsley Hall has been serving the local community since 1929. It started as a nursery and later a meeting place for young people as well as a church hall. From 1946 until the late 1960s it also hosted gatherings of one of the first youth exchange groups in England initiated by the people of Dagenham to form bonds of friendship with people from the town of Witten in Germany.

There are plans to redevelop the site to provide improved services for the community while retaining the historic Sunshine Building.

The painting in acrylics on wood size 30x40cm shows this community building in Dagenham, Greater London, England.
