My Solo Exhibition at Valence House Museum has ended

My solo exhibition at Valence House to commemorate the achievements of the people of Dagenham in Greater London has drawn to a close on July 31.

The grand opening had taken place in early May in the presence of the Mayor of Barking & Dagenham, Councillor Eileen Keller. Photographs can be viewed here.

The exhibition showed paintings of picturesque scenes of the two towns and covered major events during 70 years of post war friendship. This was initiated by the people of Dagenham who first invited German prisoners of war into their homes in 1946. Eventually this led to the twinning of the London Borough of Barking&Dagenham with the town of Witten in Germany.

About landscape painter

Painting and drawing have been my passion from early childhood. I have attended numerous exhibitions in England and Germany. Presented with the Judges Award at a show I now have one of my paintings on permanent display at a museum in Greater London with growing sales and commissions.
