Crowd Funding Project for book of paintings by Pete Brown

books by Pete BrownArtist, Pete Brown, has started a crowd funding project to enable him to get a new book with wonderfully fresh paintings of his home town Bath published in full colour.

It will be Pete´s second book about the city ten years after his first one. Having moved on in ten years Pete decided to start from scratch rather than going for a reprint. So after capturing the city for twenty years, always painting from life in all weathers, he has built up quite a selection of images to choose from.

The book will feature 130+ paintings and drawings, as well as stories and anecdotes ‘from the street’.

Pete’s recent London book also started life as a Kickstarter project, so he is now looking for crowd funding support for his new project.

Rewards

As well as the book itself, Pete has a whole host of other goodies for you to choose from including limited edition prints, original oil paintings and the chance to spend a day painting with him, in return for your support. Or, if you’re feeling really altruistic, you can make a small pledge in return for nothing more than his gratitude and your name listed in the back of the book!

Visit Pete’s Kickstarter page if you would like to learn more. Pledges will have to be in by 17 March for the project to get off the ground. Nearly three quarters of the required funds have been pledged to date.
