Local Exhibition 2019 summary

Last Saturday and Sunday my friend Peter and I participated in a local exhibition together with about 60 other artists. The event took place in a hall of a former coal mine where the miners used to receive their wage packets. Several other large rooms were densely packed with different exhibits from pearls to hand knitted items. Although the organisers had arranged for all the painters to fill one room it turned out not to be the ideal venue for our kind of work.

However we received lots of praise and many expressions of admiration often followed by interesting discussions. I was able to spend some time painting at my table easel as well.
