During the virus induced lockdown the members of Devon Art Society have been holding weekly meetings via ZOOM. This week professor Charles Harris gave us detailed explanations about a number of master paintings to be found in the National Gallery in London, England. He pointed out how the 9 design elements of the great masters were developed over centuries and how little of this has been taken forward during the last 100 years.
Details of his views can be found in his book “Trust Your Eyes“.
Charles Harris is a member of AERA the Association Embracing Realist Art.
You will find more of my paintings when you click here.
